One Way To Support Your Stockings

Way back in the early sixties there was an Englishman who gloried in the name of Harold Dakin-Potts. He was the typical upper class Brit who even sported a monocle.

Harold had one over riding interest and that was the opposite sex. Regrettably, he neither had the money nor the looks to appeal to many women.

By the time he was in his late forties, he was suffering from lack of exciting company when he had a brainwave.

He created a method of self-supporting stockings. It was simplicity itself, all he did was to incorporate small suction pads in the top of ordinary nylon stockings.

He opened an upper floor showroom just of London’s very fashionable Bond Street and launched his idea.

It didn’t take off but Harold had a great time for several years as he persuaded the loveliest women, and some of the youngest, to come to his intimate showroom to try a fitting of his brainwave.

I don’t know how he did it but the principle feature of his showroom was a two foot high fitting screen and how that guy scored.

It was after about three years that Harold succumbed to a fatal heart attack, but he departed with a smile on his face.

The point is that Harold had at last realized that women who are interested in how they look cannot resist the temptation of trying something new to arouse the passions of their latest paramour.

This is why so much attention has been paid by switched on lingerie designers to producing underwear that excites and is provocative.

It does not take a great stretch of the imagination to realize the potential and the practical advantages of tights without a crutch.

Garter Belts have great sex appeal, they come in a huge variety of designs and colors to provoke the imagination but they have one big drawback.

Stockings can wrinkle without the wearer noticing. The times I have had to pull up my stockings is uncountable. Although I suppose to a man there could be something quite attractive about a woman bending down to adjust her nylons.

But self supporting stockings shouldn’t wrinkle, their outline can’t be seen through a tight skirt, have practical advantages and they are a much more attractive underwear than tights whether crutch less or not.
